‘Guest books’ were very much in use on websites in the early 1990s. Guest books constituted an early form of interaction between the website owner and the users — and between users, because they could see each others contribution to the Guest book. A link to a ‘Guest book’ can be found prominently on the front page of the White House’s website, whitehouse.gov, that has inspired the structure of the present website.

Hej Niels Fedt at se dig her i cyperspace, selvom det tog mig lidt tid at downloade din hjemmeside her. Jeg har ellers lige fået 56K fra TDC, men min Netscape driller. Jeg har endnu ikke fået fat i en CD-ROM med den nye version. Ses vi i morgen?
